Adapting the Eight Phases of EMDR to an online environment (with practicum) via live webinar. EMDRIA-approved training. *8 hours CE. Free 2-hour Q & A 3-4 weeks after the training TBD to allow for case questions or questions for applying to clinical practice. In this training, the trainer will go over basic telehealth practices and discuss how to adapt each of the eight phases of EMDR to telehealth. The webinar will cover (in detail) each phase and how to complete each phase through telehealth. The trainer will teach many different options for dual attention stimulus (bilateral stimulation) and also offer a large variety of resourcing activities for an online environment. The training also includes an extensive practicum in which participants can practice doing the 8 phases of EMDR in an online environment and get feedback and supervision. Multiple platforms will be available for practice, and individuals will be grouped based on the modality of dual-attention stimulus (bilateral stimulation). Training will include additional protocols, including EMD, positive affect tolerance, future templates, and recent events protocol in the online environment. Additionally, extra resources will be provided for the online environment. This training is for anyone who has at least completed the half (3 days) of an EMDRIA approved Basic training. This is an EMDRIA-approved. The trainer is an EMDRIA-approved consultant and trainer. At the end of this training, you will have a working knowledge of how to adapt EMDR to all of the phases of EMDR. There are no non-emergent refunds. Once the training has begun, there will be no refunds, but you may attend another training for 50% off. If there are not at least 10 participants, the trainer will give you an option of taking the next training (preferred) or receiving a full refund. These practice experiences are for training purposes and do not replace formal therapy. All participants should be prepared to address disturbing real-life experiences to appreciate the subjective experience of EMDR and to provide valid training experiences for other participants. It is not unusual for a target memory to bring up other events. It’s also common to have continued processing throughout and after the training. Additionally, trauma-related case material, didactic information, or client videos may cause disturbances due to unresolved issues. By signing up for the course, it is assumed that participants: 1.
