The Complete EMDR Therapy Course

This course will teach clinicians interventions for every step of the way in treatment from the first session to the last.

Clinicians will learn:

  1. Current information and research on trauma and neurobiology so they have a base for their practice and information to share with client,
  2. How to take a trauma / loss list during their history taking phase,
  3. Relaxation and resource tools for the preparation phase
  4. EMDR protocol for the therapy phases
  5. EMDRs mechanisms of effect (REM sleep, working memory, etc.), modality (steps in the procedure) and model (AIP)
  6. EMDR specific tasks such as how to help a client get unstuck in their work (cognitive interweaves),
  7. Float back to check for other past experiences that need work,
  8. how to work with a cluster of experiences (things that happens over and over again) and
  9. how to do a future template to prepare clients for future situations (dating, family gatherings, job interviews, etc.).
  10. EMDR protocol variations for special populations such as children, addictions and dissociation.

Clinicians will also receive case consultation on their cases via their client videos, filling out and presenting case consultation forms and general discussion.

Please be aware of the following policies:

Cancellation and Refund Policy: No Refunds will be given for cancellations. If an emergency occurs, your registration will be transferred to a future EMDR Basic Training.

Participant Minimum: a minimum of 15 participants is needed to make this training, if you register and the minimum is not met the training will be rescheduled and your payment will be transferred to the next training  or a refund of the training  may be issued.

Sign-in and start time: Please sign-in to Zoom 10 minutes early to ensure that all technology is working properly. Please note that cameras are REQUIRED to be turned on for the entirety of this training, and participants must be visible during training time.

Proof of Registration: Please be prepared to show proof of registration if asked to do so.

Cameras are REQUIRED to be on for each training to ensure attendance and participation, same as we would at an in-person event.
